More-so used for personality disorder, DBT focuses the coping process to enhance your skills when faced with specific challenges throughout life. This therapy will enhance your motivational thinking and motivational skills.
A very common practice is the addition of a family member during therapy sessions. This is simply to be a facilitator and assist in the healing process. A family member will aid in behavioral understanding with personal relationships.
MI Therapy is used as a means of self-discovery in terms of finding what motivates you personally. Often used in drug and alcohol rehab to elicit positivity and behavioral changes. Is Individual counseling right for you?
